About me
My name is Duaa Abdelrahman Ali Alloghani from Kalba city. A bachelor of Education student in the fourth year at Higher Colleges of Technology- Fujairah Women's Campus, which is located in Al Faseel. I'm specialized on teaching English language in schools starting from primary to high school students. Through the duration of my study, I practiced teaching in various schools. This means I have experienced teaching with students from diverse levels, abilities and learning styles. Additionally, I had the opportunity to improve my personality, teaching strategies and skills to be more suitable to meet students' needs in my future teaching.
Why I chose this major?
Teachers are the critical point that makes students succeed in their lives. They are capable to build an inspired generations who have the ability to establish a bright future. I have always believed that teaching is not only a profession, but also is a mission. In addition, I feel certain that the destiny of nations is shaped in teachers' classrooms, which means there is no career that can be more rewarding than the teacher career. Teachers plays a crucial role on building students' personality in order to equip them to face the challenges in future. Moreover, I strongly believe that the relationship built based on love and affection between teachers and their students surpasses the joy that wealth bestows. I feel satisficed when I see my students acquired new dimensions to their personality and improve their skills because of me.
I have created this e-portfolio to provide a showcase of my work and to document my achievements. Additionally, to illustrate the growth of my teaching process over time. Moreover, this e-portfolio consists of various pages. Each page contains evidence to prove what I have done during the period of my teaching practice considering the six teaching competencies, which are commitment to the profession, planning for learning, managing learning, implementing learning, assessment and reflection.
