Introduction

Implementing learning refers to the application of the planned activities, tasks and assessments and put them in practice. Teachers might implement learning through following strategies and approaches to support and enhance students learning and comprehension processes. Additionally,  materials should set up before lessons. However, here are some of the strategies that I applied to implement learning in my teaching practices.

1. Set up the materials and activities

Being prepared for lessons is necessary.  Students need to be provided with suitable, meaningful and accessible materials that support their learning process. Teachers need to vary the materials using various tools to motivate students to learn and enhance their divers skills development.

Reflection

Teachers need to prepare the appropriate materials that meet students' levels, abilities and learning style to provide their opportunity for students to improve their skills in different fields.  Thus, in my teaching practices, I used to prepare the needed materials and activities while planning for my lessons and set them up before I start teaching. In addition,  I used various tools to set up or present these materials such as PowerPoint, smart board, YouTube and other online websites, worksheets and white board . In addition, I was considering my learning objectives while preparing my activities to be relevant to them, hence I achieve my learning objectives by the end of each lesson. Moreover,  I used to prepare my materials based on students' levels and learning styles. Doing these things allowed me to manage my time and have successful lessons. Furthermore, they boosted students and encouraged them to participate during the lessons, hence improve their various skills such as comprehension, communication and social skills.

2.Use visual aids

Visual aids refer to the objects or images, which initiate, stimulate and support students' learning. Visual aids can be used to make the learning experience or process more real, accurate and active. They are an effective tool that teachers can use to simplify new concepts for students and make the learning more intersting.

Reflection

Another strategy that I used to implement while teaching during my teaching practices, which is using visual aids. I used to present videos for students that are relevant to my lessons' topics to engage them effectively and support the auditory and visual learners. Moreover, I was using pictures while introducing the new vocabulary words to simplify their meaning for students. Using pictures helped the low achiever students to comprehend the ne vocabulary easily. Hall (2013) clarified that using visual aids is a beneficial strategy that can be applied to simplify the new concepts and engage students who have grown in a technology-rich environment. I believe that visual aids influence the students to learn enthusiastically because the presentation of images while teaching vocabulary allowed students to understand their meanings more accurately. The conceptual thinking procedure is enhanced well by the help of visual aids. They assisted me in creating an engaging environment for my learners.

3.Mention learning objectives

Learning objectives can be defined as the goals and expectations of a lesson. Learning objectives should be set in individual lesson plans and they must be connected to the broader goals of a unit or course. Learning objectives are important because they let students know what they will have learned by the end of lessons.

Reflection

I believe that mentioning learning objectives at the beginning of the lessons is important because learning objectives tell students what is important. They should be used to guide students as they work through the lessons and to assess their learning progress. Additionally, presenting learning objectives allows teacher to ensure achieving them by the end of the lessons. Therefore, during my teaching practices, I used to present my learning objectives at the beginning of each lesson and give students an idea about what the are going to learn during each lesson. This strategy helped me by allowing students to focus on the most important things in the lessons, hence accomplish my learning objectives efficiency
